A lover of words since a very young age and a bookworm extraordinaire - it's certainly not very surprising I've decided to pursue a career in language-related services. If "wordsmith" were an actual occupation, it would be my dream job.

Born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, I took to traveling all over the globe in my late teens and early twenties, only to find love and settle down in New York City a few years later. My acquisition of the English language began early on in my life, and today I regard myself a native speaker - in addition to the Swedish of my roots, naturally. Now, my American husband and I call a woodsy island off the Swedish east coast our home, and here we plan on remaining. Ultra running, vegetable gardening and sustainability are my passions away from the screen and keyboard, and those are certainly allowed to roam freely here, amidst the tall pine trees and wildflower fields.

My educational background covers English literature and linguistics, in which I claimed my B.A., but also nutritional science, sports science and human biology. Work-wise, I gravitate towards gastronomy, sports and health, but also agriculture, ecology and sustainability. In general, I consider myself competent in a wide range of topic areas.

I'm efficient, reliable and have a great eye for detail, and get equally excited whether it's copywriting, translation or proofreading that's on the schedule.
