Bio

I have been working in the Medical and Pharmaceutical sector for about 30 years as Clinical Researcher, Pharmacologist and Pharmacist.


I started my translation/proofreading experience from EN to IT  and viceversa 6 years ago.
Given my expertise I have been collaborating with some pharmaceutical companies and international agencies mainly as medical proofreader/checker/writer of medical reports, medical atlas, documents for marketing authorization of drugs and medical devices, summary of product characteristics, labelling, leaflets and insurance claims for medical costs refund.

As a medical writer I'm collaborating with some insurance companies. My role is to comment on medical records, medical reports, prescriptions and consultations (often handwritten and difficult to understand for a "layman") highlighting (in English) the key points: diagnosis, prognosis, surgical procedures, therapy, follow-up, treatments and costs.

Proofreading: 25-30 euro per hour * (1000 words)

MPTE: 25-30 euro per hour * (1000 words)
