قال وزير الخارجية القطري الشيخ محمد بن عبد الرحمن آل ثاني: "إن بلاده على تواصل مع أمير الكويت بشأن مساعي الوساطة التي يقوم بها، كما أن الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية تجري اتصالات مع الكويت بشأن مساعي الوساطة نفسها".
وقال الوزير القطري: "إن الحوار هو الحل للأزمة الخليجية وإنه بحاجة لأسس لم تتوفر حتى الآن".
.وأضاف: "إن قطر على استعداد لبحث أي طلبات شرط أن تكون واضحة"
