I am a passionate,
hard-working, active, and dedicated person. I love learning
languages which provides me with knowledge about different cultures, something
I really enjoy. I enjoy listening to music,
watching movies, and practicing yoga.
I like translation in particular, and I have been practicing it for
seven years as a freelancer. I have worked on projects with Gengo.com in
different pairs of languages, which provided me with the opportunity to work on
many projects with global companies such as Samsung, Microsoft, Sonymobile,
Buzzfeed, Twitter, Reddit, Mercury Marine, Ubisoft, Amazon, etc. Furthermore, I helped translate
many apps, websites, and video subtitles. This allowed me to further extend my
scope of experience to transcription, categorization, proofreading, sentiment
analysis, entity annotation, machine translation evaluation, image
classification jobs, Intent analysis, etc. while working on many AI projects
provided through Lionbridge company.
I also helped in translating
"Screwballs", a novel by Catherine Mardon, as part of a volunteering
project.
Additionally, in my free time, I proofread and
edit works for students, companies, and individuals who have their documents
already translated into English, French or Arabic.
I currently do some tasks for a
developing and design company creating website and app content with Astrolab agency,
translating, and proofreading.
I also master French both in speaking and writing.
