I have travelled extensibly and have lived in particular in English speaking countries (the USA, five years, India, three years and the UK ,four years). I have also lived in Spanish speaking countries (Bolivia and Peru, five years; Spain, three years). I lived one year in Brazil and one year in Italy. I live in France since 1970.

I attended the Overseas American School from the age of seven to seventeen in different countries, as an expat as father was a diplomat.

I achived Higher Education studies in France. Successfully graduated with a PhD in North American literature with honors from Paris-VIII and Paris-I Sorbonne. Then attended Charles-Quint, Paris-VII, to prepare the English CAPES contest.

I then embraced a thirty-five year teaching career and worked for the French National Education, Académie de Paris, appointed mainly in Lycées and in the Ecole Nationale de Commerce of Paris,  as Professeur Certifié d'anglais. 

At the same time: 

I worked as Chargée de Cours teaching students by their level of Englsih, both in  Paris-1 Sorbonne and the Institut Catholique de Paris, for eight years altogether. 

I also worked in several private Business Schools  in Paris (INSEEC...), for eight years.

And I worked in the UK in a Comprehensice School as a Qualified Teacher of French and Spanish for one year.

I translate from English to French and publish literary texts (EA Poe, A Crowley...) since 1989.
