My passion for the Japanese language goes back more than twenty years. I have honed my language skills over the years through immersive study programs and living in Japan. I cut my teeth in translation and interpreting as an in-house T/I for two different Japanese manufacturers in the United States--experiences that have further refined my skill at J>E translation. In addition to on-the-job experience, I also have formal training in the tools of the trade and earned a Master's degree in translation and interpreting.
