Concerning CT Coordinators Meeting in Abu Dhabi on 5 and 6 March 2018
Dear,
It is with great honor that I invite you, as the Under-Secretary-General of the UN Office of Counter-Terrorism, to participate in a meeting for national CT Coordinators from countries that are members of the Global Counter Terrorism Forum (GCTF). The meeting will be organized in close cooperation with Hedayah, the International Centre of Excellence for Countering Violent Extremism, in Abu Dhabi (United Arab Emirates), on 5 and 6 March 2018.
The objective of this unique meeting is to strengthen the network of the principal officials responsible for national Counter Terrorism (CT) policies and practices to Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) and to provide a platform for exchanging experience and good practices on effective CT/CVE measures and their implementation on a national, local and community level (non classified information only). The meeting will complement inter alia the efforts of the GCTF to share good CT/CVE practices and feed discussions in the United Nations on implementation of the UN Security Council Resolutions and the UN Global Counterterrorism Strategy. The meeting will focus specifically on challenges around implementation and multi-agency cooperation.
By organizing this meeting, the Netherlands and Hedayah aim to contribute to the actual implementation of internationally recognized good practices. The experience of high level national CT principals can offer important insights into how these practices can be applied in a national CT/CVE framework. Moreover, by actively sharing our own national best practices in implementation with each other, we can further strengthen our national approaches and support in designing CT and CVE measures that are tailored to the specific circumstances and needs of our own countries, local governments and communities.
Important topics that will be addressed as part of our discussions will be, among other issues:
• Developments in the international terrorist threat picture and their challenges for our national CT and CVE policies.
• Information exchange on a national and local level involving security and non-security partners.
• Development of comprehensive CT/CVE policies, combining repressive and preventive measures to reduce the threat of terrorist individuals/networks and to strengthen the resilience of vulnerable people and communities.
• Experiences with implementing (comprehensive) CT and CVE policies on an national level.
• The role of national governments in coordinating multi-agency cooperation on a national and local level.
• Implementation of UN CT Strategy and relevant UN Security Council resolutions (e.g. UNSCR 2396) by national governments.
• Experiences and recommendations on capacity-building to support implementation of CT/CVE measures in third countries.
As key partner of the GCTF, I would welcome your active contribution and I hope you will be willing to share your day-to-day (national) successes and challenges on one or more of these important topics in a high level peer-to-peer setting.
To stimulate an open and frank exchange of views, the meeting will have an informal character and Chatham House Rules will apply. Hence, the invitation is not transferrable, except to your most immediate deputy or the high level official that would be your logical alternate in CT matters. For this reason you are kindly requested to limit your delegations to a maximum of two participants (delegation leader +1).

أنت مدعو للمشاركة في دراسة وطنية حول استخدام Bevacizumab Biosimilar في الممارسة الطبية الروتينية. هذه الدراسة التطلعية السريرية تهدف إلى تقييم مدى تحمل Bevacizumab Biosimilar في استعمالاته المختلفة، ويتم إجراء هذه الدراسة من قبل مختبر Cipla على العديد من المواقع وعدد كبير من المرضى.

This forward-looking clinical study aims to assess the extent of tolerance of Beimacizumab Biosimilar in its various uses. What is the role of Bevacizumab?
Blood vessels is a key factor in tumor growth. The tumor stimulates vascular growth to meet the metabolic needs of the tumor by secreting many growth factors including VEGF.
VEGF works by binding to its receptors VEGFR1, VEGFR2, and VEGFR3. These receptors are expressed differently in endothelial cells, blood vessels, lymphocytes and precursors
VEGFR2, predominantly on vascular endothelial cells, is functionally important because it allows proliferation, invasion, migration, survival and activation of these cells, and increased vascular permeability.
Bevacizumab is an antibody to VEGF (vascular growth factor), which is associated with VEGF, a key factor in angiogenesis and vascularization, thus prevent biding of VEGF to receptors on the surface of endothelial cells. The neutralization of the vital activity of the VEGF will block the tumor vessels, normalize the remaining tumor vessels and inhibit the formation of new tumor vessels, thereby inhibiting tumor growth.

As he enters the play’s final scene Tamburlaine addresses his general Techelles and his other close advisers and rails against all religions, monotheistic or polytheistic:
What daring God torments my body thus And seeks to conquer mighty Tamburlaine?
Shall sickness prove me now to be a man,
That have been termed the terror of the world?
Techelles and the rest, come, take your swords,
And threaten him whose hand afflicts my soul.

According to Robert Greene this and the burning of the Qur’an show Tamburlaine ‘daring God out of heaven’. But Marlowe makes it quite clear here that Tamburlaine is the scourge of any divinity, not just the God of Islam or Christianity. He cannot be reduced to the status of atheist, Muslim anti-hero or even Christian hero; in the audience’s imagination he seems to embrace all of these beliefs at different moments in the play.

One extremely successful book that has been sold and translated around the world is Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People. He first wrote the book in 1936, and after many reprints, it was re-issued again by his family in 1998. It’s a classic that has stood the test of time because people relate to the principles discussed and easily see their value.
Dale Carnegie was born in 1888 and worked as a sales professional until he died in 1955. He worked as a salesman and recognized a need for people to become better public speakers. He developed a system for teaching public speaking which still exists today. He also firmly believed in a theory called responsibility assumption that describes how your actions are responsible for what you get in life.
Let’s go back and revisit some of Carnegie’s basic principles, since he touches directly on how we connect with people. Self-awareness is the first step towards understanding yourself and making a choice as to whether you wish to change certain current patterns of behavior to more productive ones.
