Source text - English A small, agrarian community thrives amidst the icy wasteland of a sunless world. The community is kept alive by the warmth and light of the Sun Tree. The firstborn children of these people are sacrificed to keep the Sun Tree burning; unbeknownst to anyone outside the corrupt priesthood, these children are sent far underground to join the enslaved Drear race, who mine and burn brimstone to power the Sun Tree. Sachi, a farmer and mother, finds the entrance to the underworld and goes in search of her lost son. There she uncovers the truth and discovers that the brimstone is running out and the world slowly dying. Battling against the priesthood, she discovers a long-lost technology that can replace the world’s reliance on brimstone. With this in hand she rescues the Drear from their slavery, reuniting the two worlds.
Translation - Portuguese Uma pequena comunidade agrária prospera em meio ao deserto gelado de um mundo sem sol. A comunidade é mantida viva pelo calor e pela luz da Árvore do Sol. Os primogênitos dessas pessoas são sacrificados para manter a Árvore do Sol acesa; sem o conhecimento de ninguém fora do sacerdócio corrupto, essas crianças são enviadas para o subsolo para se juntarem à raça escravizada dos Drear, que minera e queima enxofre para alimentar a Árvore do Sol. Sachi, uma agricultora e mãe, encontra a entrada para o submundo e vai em busca do seu filho perdido. Lá, ela descobre a verdade, o enxofre está acabando e o mundo está morrendo lentamente. Lutando contra o sacerdócio, ela descobre uma tecnologia há muito perdida que pode substituir a dependência de enxofre. Com isso em mãos, ela resgata os Drear da escravidão, reunindo os dois mundos.
