As a high school student I was encouraged to study translation or maybe become a language teacher (English, Spanish or French). Instead, I chose to leave for the Rotterdam conservatory and graduated in 2001 as a bachelor in bandoneon, a German instrument adopted by the Argentinian tango musicians. Fifteen years and three countries later I live in Buenos Aires and work both as a musician and as a translator, speaking three languages on a daily basis.
I'm very meticulous and know my way around the internet, I love investigating new topics and areas and never missed a deadline.
At the moment I mostly work with Wordfast but I'm open to trying any other CAT tool. Being a musician I have quite flexible "office hours", so do contact me for weekend or late-night jobs.
