Source text - English
Translation - Arabic The United States and Diplomacy
The United States of America is seeking via its diplomatic channels to preclude the needs for pragmatic interests. However, its public stance, especially in relation to the Middle East, the Arab-Israeli conflict and its complete bias for the for the Israeli benefit, reveal a contradiction In its rhetoric. Many former diplomatic commissions in the US acknowledged that there is an error which must be corrected, constituting obvious damage to America's interests and its policies. We mention the results of a committee of 13 academics and diplomats in the Arab and Islamic world where the study of American public diplomacy was commisioned. Its mission is to provide recommendations to solve problems which it is faced with. In reading these recommendations, the report highlights that there are increased feelings of unease towards America due to its policies. Therefore it is clear for instance, that the Arab-Israeli conflict remains an obvious and important dispute between the US and many of the Arab and Muslim countries in addition to the natives who find that American diplomacy regularly supports anti-liberty and anti-prosperity governments which grant the US the opportunity to provide additional support to these types of regimes. Arab citizens feel hurt by the distress the Palestinian people are being subjected to and the role the US is able to play in the continuation of this situation.

Bio
A graduate of Arabic and Islamic studies who is comfortable with all facets of translation from English to Arabic and vice versa. I spent a year abroad in Morocco which further developed my skills in Arabic. I have been studying Arabic for 9 years and expertise in Arabic grammar. I am comfortable in dealing with all types of texts ranging from news to literature and everything in between. Studying languages has increased my ability in editing and proof reading as I am now able to analyse and assess texts with a great deal of accuracy. Studying at the University of Leeds has given me the ability to work under immense pressure therefore working to deadlines is not a problem for me. I believe that studying a language has allowed me to write better in my own language therefore stylistically, I am able to produce high level translations in both languages.
