Equation 4.8 says a firm’s ability to grow depends on four fundamentals:
1. Its ability to earn profits on sales as measured by its ROS (net income/sales)
2. Its talent at using assets to generate sales as measured by its total asset turnover
(sales/assets)
3. Its use of leverage (borrowed money) as measured by the equity multiplier
(assets/equity)
4. The percentage of earnings it retains as measured by (1 2 d), the earnings
retention ratio
These ideas can be used to analyze why a particular firm’s growth has been good
or bad in relation to that of other firms.		Translation - English
المعادلة (8.4) تقول أن قدرة الشركة على النمو تعتمد على أربعة أسس هم:
1- قدرة الشركة على كسب الأرباح على مقياس المبيعات حيث ROS هو (صافي الدخل /المبيعات(
2- مواهب الشركة في استخدام الأصول لتوليد مقياس للمبيعات من خلال إجمالي قيمة التداول للأصول (المبيعات / الأصول)
3- استخدامه من الرافعة المالية (الأموال المقترضة) كمقياس من خلال مضاعفة الأسهم (الأصول / حقوق المساهمين)
4- نسبة الأرباح المحفوظة كمقياس من خلال (1-d) وهو نسبة الاحتفاظ بالأرباح.
