Source text - Italian Dopo tanti anni in Italia, volevo confrontarmi con culture e tradizioni diverse e provare un'esperienza di lavoro all'estero.
Accettare l'offerta del Chelsea, nell'estate del 2009, significava quindi affrontare una sfida per me entusiasmante e mi poneva di fronte a un passaggio professionale che, a mio avviso, ogni allenatore dovrebbe poter fare.
Il Chelsea poi, quale top club, offriva strutture e organizzazione straordinarie, e mi metteva a disposizione un team di assoluto valore.
Translation - English After many years in Italy, I wanted to compare different cultures and diverse traditions and try working abroad.
Accepting the offer from Chelsea, in the summer of 2009, meant an exciting challenge and put me on the next professional step that, in my opinion, every coach should take.
Chelsea, as a top club, offered structure and extraordinary organisation, and gave me a team of absolute quality.
