Source text - English “Why Pink Floyd?” was the rather clever marketing catchphrase that EMI created in 2011 in order to re-launch the back catalogue, perhaps for the last time, of one of rock music’s most enigmatic of bands. Being a fan, ‘why not?’ would be the most obvious answer but it’s actually a very thought-provoking question.
Pink Floyd was one of those rare breed of bands that by the mid-Seventies was enjoying colossal album sales, without actually having to do very much at all to sell them. Th ey didn’t release many singles, rarely gave interviews, didn’t much like the press attending their shows, hid behind banks of special effects on stage, were never regarded as celebrities in their own right, and restricted their touring largely to the UK, northern Europe and North America. Th e cult of their original front-man Syd Barrett also perpetuated a sense of mystique about the band.
Translation - Czech „Proč Pink Floyd?“ byl docela chytrý marketingový slogan, který firma EMI vytvořila v roce 2011 k opětovnému vydání, možná poslednímu, katalogu jedné z nejtajemnějších kapel rockové hudby. Je-li člověk fanouškem, odpověď zní jasně, ‘Proč ne?’, ale ve skutečnosti jde o velmi podnětnou otázku.
Pink Floyd byla jednou z nemnoha kapel, které se do poloviny sedmdesátých let 20. století těšily obrovskému prodeji desek, aniž by se o to musely nějak zvlášť snažit. Nevydávali mnoho singlů, jen zřídka poskytovali rozhovory, neměli moc rádi, když na jejich koncerty chodili novináři, na pódiu se skrývali za záplavou zvláštních efektů, nikdy nebyli v pravém slova smyslu považováni za celebrity a svá turné do značné míry omezovali na Velkou Británii, severní Evropu a Severní Ameriku. The Dacia brand has grown since that year and renewed its entire line-up; the brand now markets the youngest range in Europe.
Dacia has a robust design and manufacturing base in Romania, serving 43 sales countries and featuring a design center, an engineering center, a powertrain plant, a body assembly plant, a spare parts center and a logistics center.
