I am a translator and interpreter looking for more experience as an interpreter. I am currently living in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, right next to Ciudad del este, Paraguay, and Puerto Iguazú, Argentina. I am currently an undergraduate of electrical engineering studying at Brazil's and Paraguay's binational hidroelectric powerplant Itaipu. In São Paulo, I both went to law school and obtained my electronics technician degree.
As a translator, I have worked with contracts, other legal documents, automotive and automated systems manuals, websites, software localization, and subtitling. I also have experience with other kinds of texts and was part of the team that translated the book "O Senhor do Tempo" to Mandarin Chinese.
As an interpreter, I have worked with a Japanese equipment assembly and machine operator training team in São Paulo, accompanied a master's degree student from the University of California during his research about graffiti in São Paulo and accompanied people of several nationalities during tours bureaucratic procedures in São Paulo and in Itaipu.
