Source text - Arabic Youth represent 26% of the Libyan population (1.6 million) compared to 25% of the world's youth rate. This category of young people has social, cultural and psychological characteristics derived from the values prevailing in the Libyan society. But it has also acquired other characteristics derived from its history and its volatile reality, as well as the geopolitical transformations witnessed by the Libyan situation of instability, the spread of extreme radical phenomena led by armed groups, the impact of these constraints on the economic reality and the participation of young people in public affairs.
Translation - French يمثل الشباب حوالي 26 % من السكان الليبيين القارين (أي ما يعادل 1,6 مليون نسمة) مقابل نسبة 25 % كمعدل شباب سكان العالم. ولهذه الشريحة من الشباب خصائص اجتماعية وثقافية ونفسية استمدت مرجعيتها من القيم السائدة في المجتمع الليبي. إلا أنها ولا شك قد اكتسبت خصائص أخرى مستمدة من تاريخها وواقعها المتقلب، وأيضًا من التحولات الجيوسياسية التي يشهدها الواقع الليبي والمتمثل في عدم الاستقرار، وتفشي الظواهر الراديكالية المتطرفة التي تقودها مجموعات مسلحة وتأثير هذه الإكراهات على الواقع الاقتصادي وعلى مشاركة الشباب في الشأن العام.
