Bio
ABOUT
Elsa is a professional English to French / French to English Translator originally from France, and has now made Vancouver her home. As such, she has taken up a lot of what this beautiful city has to offer. She enjoys hiking, reading, photographing, developing B&W films, and traveling whenever she is not translating documents or collaborating on books or projects.

Elsa was born in New Caledonia, a French Island in the Pacific Ocean, and grew up close to Marseille, in Southern France. She also lived in Scotland, and gained Canadian citizenship in 2014, living in Vancouver when not exploring the world.
The diverse nature of these environments has led to her developing a keen understanding of society in general, and more specifically, of French, Quebecker, Scottish, Canadian and American cultures – an understanding which is a great asset to the professional field of translation.

SKILLS
Elsa is an associate member of the STIBC - Society of Translators and Interpreters of British Columbia.
Prior to her association, she graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in General Law, with a minor in English Literature from the Law University of Aix-en-Provence in France. She also achieved a Translation Certificate in the French/English pair from the Université de Saint-Boniface located in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Elsa is meticulous in her craft, driven by completing projects within deadlines, and excelling in high pressure environments. She is committed to providing excellence in translation for all of her clients.

SERVICES
Elsa provides quality legal document translation for organizations and individuals. She also offers her services in the Marketing field, and take an extreme pleasure in translating for the arts such as literature, architecture and photography.
