Translation - English After twenty years of civil war, peace arrives and the Beirut Theatre reopens. Ruba, the lead actress of the theater is symbolically a fallen angel. The line between dreams and reality is erased during his rehearsals and she starts talking to her reflection. Pan, the narrator, explains to the public how the two (Ruba and her reflection) call an ancestral spirit that arrives through the mirror dancing.
Ruba tries to balance dreams and the everyday. It is the young Ahmad who has run away from home who keeps her together.. But before befreinding Ruba, the young Ahmad is found in the mountains surrounded by a group of Kurdish refugees in Exodus.
A situation about kurdish issues is presented. Themes such as sacrifice, broken lives and broken dreams, as well as characters who are pushed to live in circumstances that they themselves have not chosen. The lives of the refugees (plastic tents, hunger, death, collective lamentations) scares the young Ahmad and he escapes. He takes refuge in the Beirut Theater" where he sees Ruba for the first time performing on stage with a group of actors. Little Ahmad leads the public to see a history that mixes both the reality of refugees in exodus with the intellectual elegant, and dreamy world of the Beirut Theater.

Translation - English We have structured a program that will be carried out in separate classes that will unite each evening, in a laboratory that brings together the various study lines of the day program. It will be our little forum-lab bringing together teachers and students to create together. We are establishing this forum in order to create a live, mutant and kaleidoscopic piece of theatre through which we will offer different levels or steps, where you'll find sometimes a simple and traditional language, and other times a more extreme intensity, pointing towards a contemporary language, carrying the actor to the heart of the mystic state of “Underground”.
In our program, each student will take a journey to find his own "ego". We will work to overcome the egos in a fun way, through which each one will also experiment his ancestor through the voice but also through the creation of the character own body.
Having lived the experiences of our ancestors, our suffering is intimately linked to theirs. Freedom is not only ours as human beings: it is also that of our ancestors.
To go deeper, we have united styles from north and south, east and west. There are two groups: one group that will lead actors to go further deep in their own research, and another group that will develop the school with energy and physicality, where we can move further in physical actions, where the body and the voice will be united as an instrument that we can listen to.
Our project will be formed by theatre actors from different roots and tendencies: theatre, flamenco, clown, butoh, with influences from Jacques Lecoq, Philippe Gaulier and a strong base of Stanislavski. The different languages will help the actors to perform in a common language and they will be dealing with topics such as journalism, poetry, mystic, healing, social debates and pure flamenco.
