I'm an American PhD student in anthropology currently living in Poland. My research focuses on the role of Polish museums and cultural centers in presenting history to the public. My dissertation project has involved interviewing museum professionals, staff, and volunteers in Polish and English. While living here, I have volunteered as a translator for several cultural institutions and academic publications, and as a tutor for Polish speakers learning English. I also have extensive experience in writing in journalistic and academic settings as well as teaching academic writing.
