I found out every human has only one life when I was just a pesky little boy, and that changed me. I had a thick government-sanctioned hardback notebook and on it I wrote, " I want to be a writer when I grow up". Pining my hopes on every human who found the mettle to go against the stream, or at the last dared. I thought of myself as the first human who wanted to control fire. So I kept on writing. Be it a Post-it note, or a letter to my Misty-Auntie, or a descriptive answer on a literature test, I kept on pouring my heart out. I believe even if you have only one reader, you should keep on writing. And that one reader could be you.
My name is Mohammad Al Amin Kiron and I’m happy to be born in this unearthly beautiful country, Bangladesh. I could have been someone uninquisitive, an ignoramus, or an inanimate object per se; I could have been different, different than the person I currently am, so I’m just happy to be here. |
