Raised in a mixed household I have been privileged to enjoy both the fruits of a Dutch and Japanese education. I have long term experience in both Japan and the Netherlands allowing an extensive knowledge in its cultures. Currently studying to get a degree and to finance such endeavor I have turned to my language proficiency.
Several years of experience with translating, proofreading, subtitling and interpreting. Not out of profession but my experience mainly involves voluntary work and fan translations. I have been lending my services as a writer and translator to a Dutch magazine called Aniway,
actively contributing to for a dutch interest group Jpop-foundationas a interpreting and translator, helped out oriental studies students among many others. I am confident that these experience, and my broad interest, will help me deliver translations of professional quality.
