Considering that IMC employs various
messages and communications channels
in the marketing communications mix, it
is not surprising that many studies expounded
its meaning and practice from
many different perspectives. Although the
majority of them dealt with only certain
aspects of IMC, they still provide a [useful
conceptual and theoretical basis of[ defining
the multidimensionality of IMC. [Therefore,
we will review three widely cited
studies, which explicated underlying dimensions
of IMC.
Cathey and Schumann (1996),, based
on a comprehensive review of literature,
identified three important aspects of IMC:
integration of messages and media, audienceorientation,
and assessment of impact^. They
emphasized the importance of coordination
of messages and media to create the
most positive communications experiences
for the consumers who are in different
stages in the buying process. They
underscored the importance of customer
orientation by pointing out that integration
should be designed from the perspective
of the message receiver, not from the
perspective of the advertising agency or
its client. They also stressed that the customers'
responses to a message must be
objectively assessed to make IMC a dynamic
process instead of a one-time activity.
They also indicated that the impact of
IMC on marketing practices should be
assessed.

إذا أخذنا بعين الاعتبار فكرة أن IMC توظف رسائل و قنوات اتصال مختلفة في منظومة أدوات الاتصال التسويقية، فإنه من غير المفاجئ أن نرى عديداً من الدراسات التي تشرح و تفسر مفاهيمها و تطبيقاتها على ضوء منظورات مختلفة.
و على الرغم من أن أغلب هذه المنظورات عالجت نواح معينة من IMC إلا أنها توفر قاعدة مفاهيمية و نظرية مفيدة قد تساعدنا في تقديم تعريف مناسب، لتعددية أبعاد IMC ، و لذا، سنقوم بمراجعة ثلاث من أكثر الدراسات التي يستدل بها في هذا السياق، و التي تحلل الأبعاد الضمنية ل IMC.
عرّفت دراسة (Cathey and Schumann) المبنية على مراجعة مستفيضة للمواد المكتوبة في هذا الخصوص ثلاث نواح مهمة ل IMCو هي:
تكامل الرسالة و الإعلام، توجيه الفئة المستهدفة و تقييم أثرها على المستهلكين.
و أكدت الدراسة على أهمية التناسق بين الرسالة و الإعلام لخلق التجربة الايجابية الفضلى للعملاء الذين هم في مختلف مراحل الشراء.
كما يؤكد الباحثان في هذه الدراسة على أهمية توجيه المستهلك، و ذلك بتسليط الضوء على أن الدمج يجب أن يصاغ من وجهة نظر متلقي الرسالة المراد ايصالها (المتلقي) و ليس تلك من الوكالة الاعلانية، أو عملائها أي حال.
و من ناحية أخرى، شددت الدراسة على أن رد فعل المستهلك على تلك الرسالة الاعلامية، يجب أن يدرس بشكل موضوعي، و ذلك لتكون IMC عملية دايناميكية، بدلاً من كونها نشاطاً لمرة واحدة، و بأنه من الاهمية بمكان، دراسة تأثير IMC على النشاطات النسويقية.

لقد مر الاقتصاد الأردني منذ استقلال المملكة الاردنية
الهاشمية بخمسة عقود شهدت دورات اقتصادية
متنوعة، وقد اختلف دور الدولة الأردنية في الاقتصاد
الوطني تبعاً لمتطلبات كل فترة، ففي حين كانت
فترة الخمسينات والستينات مرحلة تدخل الدولة
نتيجة قلة الإمكانات المادية لدى القطاع الخاص من
جهة وتخوفه من المخاطرة من جهة أخرى، فإن فترة
التسعينات شهدت تغيرات هائلة تمثلت في انتشار
ثقافة الانفتاح التجاري وعولمة الأسواق، وسعى الأردن
حثيثاً لمواكبة هذه المتغيرات وذلك بالاندماج العالمي
حيث دأبت الحكومة الأردنية منذ أوائل العقد الماضي
على اتخاذ منظومة واسعة من السياسات والإجراءات
والبرامج الهادفة إلى تحرير الاقتصاد، والتخلص من
التشوهات التي نجمت عن سيطرة القطاع العام
وتعطيل قوى السوق وتخصيص الموارد المتاحة على
أسس ابعد ما تكون عن الكفاءة والفاعلية.
ويقوم اقتصاد السوق الحر على العرض والطلب وتحرير
الأسعار من أي قيد عدا ما تفرضه مبادئ المنافسة
الحرة ، ويعتمد بشكل أساسي على الملكية الخاصة
للأفراد والمؤسسات، ومع ذلك فإن اقتصاد السوق لا
يعني بأي شكل من الأشكال غياب القطاع العام ودور
الدولة في تنظيم الحياة الاقتصادية، وهنا يبرز دور الدولة
في اتخاذ القرارات ورسم السياسات و القواعد العامة
والمبادئ الأساسية التي تحكم النشاط الاقتصادي في
سعيها لتأمين بيئة اقتصادية وتشريعية مستقرة
تُمكن القطاع الخاص من تنفيذ المشاريع والمشاركة
في أدائها.
Translation - English Minister's Speech
The Jordanian Economy, since declaring the independence, has came across five decades of different economical cycles, whereas the Jordanian government played a unique role in the national economy according to the requirements for each era; according to observers, the 50s and 60s was an era in which the government had to step in due to the lack of financial capacity at the private sector from one hand, and the fear taking risks on the other hand, yet, the 90 s witnessed huge changes, that was mirrored by the fact that the commercial openness culture, and markets` globalization became widely known. The government has endeavored huge strides to keep abreast with these developments by following the international vision. In which it started adapting a wide set of policies, procedures and programs that aims at liberating economy, correcting the malformations that resulted from the dominance of the public sector, therefore paralyzing the market’s capacity, and misdistribution of resources at hand.
The economy of the free market is based on offer and request* and unchaining prices from any restriction but the one imposed by the principles of free competition. The economy primarily depends on individuals and companies’ private prosperity. Nonetheless, the market’s economy does not minimize the role of the public sector in any way, or that of the government in organizing the economic process. Upon that arises the government’s role in decision making and drawing the policies, and essential principles and regulations that governs the political activity. The government seeks to provide the private sector with a stable economic and ** environment that enables the private sector to implement and participate in its execution.
