I am experienced in translating literature (short stories, novels) from German, English and Hindi to Czech. I studied "Humanities" (consisting of philosophy, religion, social science, antropology, psychology and history) and prefer translating in these fields. Nowadays I am doing my MA in Indology (my main languages being Hindi and Sanskrit), which enables me to do professional translations of texts related to India. My other interests are healthy nutrition, ecology, chemistry and related subjects (I studied chemistry before I turned to humanities).

Apart from various smaller scientitific and literary texts I translated "The History of Indian Philosophy" by Erich Frauwallner (from German to Czech). As I am acquainted with the Biblical terminology, since three years I have been translating the Exhortations of a Great Britain based church (from English to Czech). Lately I have translated a couple of short stories from Hindi to Czech and German, one of which is just going to be published in a German journal specialized on South Asian Studies.
The exams I have passed are Cambridge First Certificate Examination from English and State Examination from German.
