I have a PhD in languages and arts and have been trained in Paris in a multidisciplinary framework of cognitive neuroscience, psychology and linguistics. My multidisciplinary PhD training allows me to cope with highly technical and conceptually complex scientific academic/peer review texts in areas such as cognitive sciences, psychology, statistics and human sciences, while I can also handle scientific and technical documents aimed at the general public.

A native speaker of Chinese, I live in Paris and its suburban areas for more than 12 years and deeply immersed in the French culture. That means I have a very good knowledge of French texts and speak perfectly French as a near native speaker, such that I published academic papers in French too.

With my first career in an IT enterprise as a Web manager, I handle very comfortably IT contents and localization projects, while in my translation work, I have been concentrated on medicine (esp. neuroscience), automotive industry, architecture, oenology and luxury watch.

In addition to highly technical translation, I am also a very good copywriter with excellent writing skills in Chinese. This quality allows me to handle creative translations in areas such as marketing, fashion and luxury industry and tourism and this is now an important part of my translating activity.
