و لست أريد القول أنني كنت أنظر الى الحياة نظرة فنية (و ان كان هذا صحيح في حد ذاته)، و إنما أردت أننى كنت أعتقد أن الحياة نفسها عمل فني تحكمة الأصول التي تحكم بيت الشعر و لحن الموسيقى و صورة المصور، و تخرج – أي الحياة – فى جملتها و تفصيلها من يد الفن الآهي كما تخرج الدمية من يد الصانع القدير في فكرتها الباطنة و تمثيلها الظاهر . أما الفرق بين نظرك الى الكون نظرة فنية و بين اعتقادق الفكرة الفنية فى مظاهره فهو أنك قد تنظر بعين الفن الى شئ لا أثر للفن فيه، ولكنك إذا اعتقدت الفكرة الفنية فى ذلك الشئ، نظرت اليه بتلك العين و زدت على ذلك أن تجعل الفن نفسة منطويً فيه.
إن الكون كله و الحياة (و هى أعم من الكون فى نظري)، و الفن و مناظر الأرض والسماء، كل أولئك مظهر للتآلف او للتنازع بين الحرية والضرورة، او بين الجمال و المنفعة، أو بين الروح والمادة، أو بين أفراح الفن و أوزانه: قوى مطلقة وقوانين تحكم هذة القوى المطلقة، و كلما ائتلفت القوى و القوانين اقتربت من السمة الفنية والنظام الجميل الذى يبين بالمادة صفاء الروح و يسبر بالقيود أغوار الحرية، وهذا الائتلاف هو دستور الفن الإلهى المحيط بكل شىء .
'' و هكذا فلتكن الحياة، و على هذا المعنى فالنفهم ضرورتها و قوانينها. فما الضرورات و القوانين، إلا القالب التى تحصر فية الحياة عند صبٌها و صياغتها ليكون لها حيًز محدود فى هذا الوجود. و الا فتصوٌر عالماً لا موانع فية و لا اثقال ثم انظر ماذا لعلٌه يكون؟؟ إنه لا يكون إلا فضاء بغير فاصل أو هيولى بغير تكوين؟؟ .''
'' فقوام الأمرين فى نظرى أن نجعل من القانون حرية،و من القيود حلية، و من الثورة نظاماً، و من الواجب شوقاً و فرحاً و من الهيولي عالماً مقسماً و فلكاً دائراً. فهذا هو المثل الأعلى فى الحياة و هذا هو لبٌ’ لباب فنها الإلَََهى الذي يلتقي فيه - كما يلتقي فى فنوننا – قيد الوزن و فرح اللعب، و يتعانق على يدية الخيال الشارد و القافية المحبوسة. و تلك هى سنٌة الله فى خلق هذا الكون الذي جعلت قوانينة مهراً لحريته و سبباً للشعور به، فقام على هذا النظام وسطاً بين العدمين عدم الفوضى و عدم الجور الأعمى ''.

I don't wont to say that I was beholding life artistically (however it's right per se) but that i was believing that life itself is an art work ruled by the principles that rules the verse, the melody of music, and the picture of the artist, it comes out – life that is – in toto and details from the hand of the celestial art as the doll comes out from the hand of the mighty maker in its inner idea and outer representation. Yet the difference between you beholding to the world artistically and believing the artistic idea in its complexions is that you may behold by the eye of art something that art has no effect on, but if you believed the artistic idea in that thing, you beheld it in that eye and furthermore you make art it self encompassed in same.
'' The whole cosmos and life (which is more general to my mind), art and the scenes of land and sky, all of that is a complexion of a harmony or conflict between freedom and necessity, beauty and profit, spirit and physicality, or between the joys of art and its order: unlimited power and rules govern these unlimited power, and the more these power and rules go in harmony the more they approach the artistic feature and the beautiful system which reveals by physicality, the purity of spirit and through restrictions fathoms out freedom, this harmony is the devise art constitution surrounding everything.
'' Ergo, so be life, in support of this meaning let's understand the necessities and rules thereof . then what are necessities and rules, but the mould that life is confined by at its cast and moulding to have a limited space in this existence, or then visualize a world with no walls and no loads, thereafter behold what it might be?? It wouldn't be anything but a free space without a separator or a matter without a configuration?? ''.
'' The best of both in my point of view is to make freedom out of rules, ornament out of restraints, a system out of revolution, eagerness and gladness out of duty and make a shared-out world and a circulating orbit out of a matter. As this is the ideal in life and this is the core of cores of its devise art in which at this point meets, ـ as it does in our arts ـ the restraint of load and the joy of playing, and embraces, on its hand the abstracted imagination and the confined rhyme. That is the sonnanorms of Allah for creating this universe that made its rules a pavilion for freedom thereof and a cause for feeling same. Then rose from this system an intermediate amidst the two nothingness the nothingness of chaos and the nothingness of blind injustice''.
