Source text - Turkish Eritropoietin, eritroid progenitörlerinden eritrosit yapılmasını uyaran bir glikoproteindir; mitozu uyaran bir faktör ve farklılaşma hormonu olarak görev yapar. Anemik hastaların idrarından izole edilen eritropoietinin aminoasit ve karbohidrat içeriği ile epoetin betanınki aynıdır.
İnsan kemik iliği hücreleriyle yapılan hücre kültürü incelemelerinde epoetin betanın spesifik olarak eritropoezi uyardığı ve lökopoezi etkilemediği görülmüştür. Epoetin betanın kemik iliği veya insan deri hücrelerine sitotoksik etkisi saptanmamıştır.
İnsanlarda epoetin betayı nötralize eden antikorların geliştiğine ilişkin hiçbir göstergeye rastlanmamıştır.
Translation - English Erythropoietin is a glycoprotein that stimulates erythrocyte generation from erythroid progenitor. It functions as a factor and differentiation hormone stimulating mitosis. Amino acid and carbohydrate contents of the erythropoietin isolated from the urine of the anaemic patients are the same as those of the epoetin beta.
In cell culture examinations with human marrow cells, it was observed that epoetin beta stimulates specifically the erythropoiesis and does not affect leukopoiesis. No cytotoxic effect of epoetin beta in bone marrow or human skin was detected.
Indicators of the growth of antibodies neutralizing epoetin beta in humans were not discovered.

I provide translation, localization and proofreading services in English-Turkish, Spanish-Turkish, Catalan-Turkish language pairs. I have been working as a freelance translator for more than 8 years and I have translated nine literary and non-literary books as well as lots of texts from varying areas such medicine, energy, textile, tourism, marketing, IT. I have also worked in many website, app and game localization projects of many leading enterprises. The CAT tools that I use include SDL Trados, Memoq, Wordfast, OmegaT as well as cloud-based tools such as Crowdin, SmartCat, Memsource, Smartling and MateCat.

I completed my PhD in April 2021 in Translation and Intercultural Studies in Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona. My research was on Turkish-English machine translation.
