Turkish term or phrase: Önüne gelene indirmek
A quick question: the above idiom seems to mean 'to download'. But what exactly does gelene mean here? Is it the dative of the participle gelen 'which is coming?'
I can't find many examples but perhaps your experts can give me a few.

swinging randomly
Explanation:
this has nothing to do with downloading. it depicts a fight and someone who is swinging punches to anyone infront of him.

This seems to be the best answer, although I would associate the phrase 'swinging punches' with boxing, the swing being a type of hook, with the main difference being that in the swing the arm is usually more extended. I would say 'throwing random punches' or, as Tim translates it, 'hitting out right left & centre'. CS translations' usage I think seems to mean 'to download' in this context: önüne gelen filmi indirmek
sınırsız kotaya sahip olan bir kişinin yapabileceği olası bir eylem. fakat aylık 4 gb' lık bir kotayla geçinmeye çabalıyorsanız, zordur arkadaşım o iş. pahalıya patlar.. but clearly I need expert comments from ProZ specialists. Thanks to both!

agree  Tim Drayton: 'Hitting out left, right and centre' is another expression that comes to mind with the meaning you have given (context would be useful to make this absolutely clear).

It is a slang for downloading excessively, not binge drinking and downloading :)
