referral (to a different subscriber number); call forwarding Explanation: (I am not sure that "referral" is the idiomatic term.) "Call forwarding" is a very idiomatic term, but I am not sure whether this is what hänvisning means here. Call forwarding is automatic dialing of the alternate number. |

alternate greeting Explanation: A "hänvisning" is a recorded message that is prioritized over any other greeting when it is enabled and it is used to inform the caller that the person is away from the office all day, out to lunch, or the like. Many phone systems offer the ability for the user to select a specific code when enabling the alternate greeting, so that one code is used to indicate that the person is temporarily absent and will be back after lunch, another one to indicate that the person will be out of the office all day, etc. Since the message comes on automatically, it is considered a greeting, and since it is temporary, it is referred to as an alternate greeting. https://confluence.it.su.se/confluence/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=38110342 Reference: http://voip.concordia.ca/voicemail/messaging/sample.shtml |
