See the first link on the second page for a pairing of "stavlimmad svartbetsad ek" with "edge-glued black-stained oak". The second link has other example of "edge-glued oak".

(I think the "stav-"part probably comes from the use of strips for making this product. In the U.S., we talk of canoes and kayaks built with a similar technique as "strippers" and the process as "strip-gluing".)
