I was wondering if you might be able to help me find a precise translation for the term 'pantförskrivning' / 'pantförskriva' in the following context:

I have found 'mortgage' as a translation, but that does not appear to apply to the present context, which is within a document relating to pension benefits.

Explanation:
Pledging and charge are also withing acceptable parameters but, as law trainee in the City of London, I used to make an 'en/indorsement' of assignment on life policies as security for the assured's (not insured's) loan of money.

-> Thanks. It looks counter-intuitive, but that's the term used in the City of London.
