Swedish term or phrase: spika upp
Hello

In the badly written Swedish sentence

Det var nämnde Jacob Fugger hjälpte påven med avlatshandel, den som provocerade Martin Luther att ***spika upp*** sina teser.

does "spika upp" mean sharpen (his criticism) as I know that Martin Luther had criticized the church

Or does it mean "disseminate" as "spika upp" could literally mean "nail on" a tree e.g. as in old times when Royal proclamations were nailed to trees.

Thanks

agree  Anna Herbst: Just "nailed". Luther nailed his 95 theses to the door of the Castle Church of Wittenberg.
