Swedish term or phrase: Klandrat avgörande
This term appears at the beginning of a judgment by the Supreme Administrative Court (Högsta Förvaltningsdomstolen). I guess it corresponds to something like "contested decision" in English, but I would be grateful to know the correct English legal term. Thanks

Appealed decision
Explanation:
I read this as a reference to the lower court decision that is being brought before your court. You're right about the 'contested', but this is the way I'd deal with it. Don't know what Brits would say...

Thanks. I think appealed decision should work. "Klandrat avgörande" really sounds a bit archaic, as the common meaning of "klandra" is "to blame", so we are here sort of talking about a "blamed decision". Many thanks

agree  Agneta Pallinder: Or appealed determination, using the terminology of the Supreme Adminstrative Court's English website (only as good as its translator of course).

Decision appealed against

Explanation:
This seems to be the rather circumlocutory UK English wording, but I'm sure any one in UK would understand "Appealed Decision".
