Salmon, compensatory release


Explanation:
Nothing much wrong with "compensation release", but I think "compensatory release"sounds a bit more natural in English, and is well supported by Google. To me, "compensation" implies something financial in a way that is not true of "compensatory". But it is a mite hair-splitting.
