Vi tillverkar datasystem för kliniska laboratorier. När t.ex. ett blodprov levereras till labbet blir det ankomstregistrerat vilket innebär att det registreras i systemet och får ett unikt ID-nummer. Även andra artiklar, exempelvis kemikalier, kan ankomstregistreras. Idag används därför två översättningar av äldre datum för "ankomstregistrera": "sample arrival" och "article arrival".
Jag tycker dessa är osmidiga och skulle vilja använda en och samma engelska översättning för alla typer av ankomstregistrering. Den starkaste kandidaten är "arrival registration". Är det någon som har invändningar eller bättre förslag?

The forensic laboratories I worked at used LIMS, but we used to receive samples and consumables and log them in LIMS. We used "registration of receipt". However, registration of arrival/registration of delivery may sound better?

neutral  kargaard: logged on arrival could confuse the profdoc user (who is not necessarily an IT expert - my mother uses it and she can hardly log into her email. She would get confused by logging/logged on arrival vs. logged on (user into the system).

neutral  SafeTex: I understand the idea but this could be confusing as it sounds like a receipt was registered. Part of the problem is caused by English as well which uses 'receipt' and 'reception' here for the same idea
