pre-analysis Explanation: like pre-entry http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyphen (the two others just look "funny" to me) -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 uur (2012-11-14 10:05:15 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- Many long-established words, such as preamble, degrade, and prefix, do not require a hyphen since the prefix is viewed as fully fused. That's not the case here! Depending on the market (UK/US/AUS), I would still use the hyphen anyway; you can't go wrong in any continent! Also here "pre" stresses out it's the activity/operation that proceeds the actual analysis, yet it is one word! -------------------------------------------------- Note added at 1 uur (2012-11-14 10:11:07 GMT) -------------------------------------------------- also check out the number of G-hits: pre-hyphen-analysis prevails! |
