Don Quijote lo dice con otras palabras: El muerto, a la sepultura, y el vivo, a la hogaza, y en ambas formas señala que por honda que sea la pena causada por la muerte de un ser querido, los deudos de éste deben reanudar las exigencias ordinarias de la vida. Lo mismo, referido a los niños, dice otro: Angelitos al cielo; y a la panza los buñuelos.
