Spanish term or phrase: Notario quinto
Esta figura jurídica me aparece en un certificado de nacimiento colombiano como autoridad expedidora del certificado. Necesito saber si "notario quinto" es una figura concreta con atribuciones específicas en los registros civiles de algunos países latinoamericanos, o bien si se trata simplemente de un notario público y también existe un notario primero, segundo, tercero, etc.

Per tutti i motivi precisati nella prima delle due KudoZ di cui ti segnalo i link lo tradurrei in questo modo (evitando espressioni come "studio notarile" o anche "notariato" perché si presterebbero ad equivoci con le corrispondenti espressioni italiane).
Penso che in questo modo si renda maggiormente l'idea del particolare ruolo di pubblico ufficiale che la figura del notaio riveste nell'ordinamento colombiano rispetto al carattere di libero professionista a lui riconosciuta da altri ordinamenti come quello italiano...

Per tutti i motivi precisati nella prima delle due KudoZ di cui ti segnalo i link lo tradurrei in questo modo (evitando espressioni come "studio notarile" o anche "notariato" perché si presterebbero ad equivoci con le corrispondenti espressioni italiane).
