1. f. La que se otorga a un trabajador por un período de tiempo en casos de enfermedad, accidente, etc.
Attenzione che le dimissioni invece sono definitive, secondo me il termine corretto é questo.
Si usa anche per la astensione facoltativa per maternità, lo so perché sono appena rientrata dalla mia "baja maternal".

disagree  Maria Midiri: In questo caso la baja non é dovuta a malattia o incidente etc. In spagnolo l'aspettativa temporale é la excedencia, nel caso di baja maternal hai ragione peró causar baja voluntaria implica uno scioglimento del rapporto di lavoro.
