A me non sembrano spinotti, quanto piuttosto dei rinforzi a forma di staffa, traversa.

Una delle possibili interpretazioni di cruceta è 'barra transversal', appunto una traversa, una barra trasversale (di rinforzo).
Ho trovato cruceta tradotta anche con cross tie (in questo caso un tirante di rinforzo).

anche qui il livello di confidence della risposta è un po' basso, servirebbe certamente avere maggiori informazioni sull'argomento.
