| Reference: Assignation à comparaître Reference information: Juste pour info: La "notification" est la formalité par laquelle on tient officiellement une personne, informée du contenu d'un acte à laquelle elle a pas été partie (Voir "Cession de créance" notamment la cession de bail), ou par laquelle on lui donne un préavis, ou par laquelle on la cite à comparaître devant un tribunal, ou enfin, par laquelle on lui donne connaissance du contenu d'une décision de justice. La notification d'une décision de justice fait courir les délais de recours. La "signification" est une forme de notification. elle est faite par un huissier de justice par le moyen d'un acte authentique appelé exploit", mot assez peu usité de nos jours.
