I give this "literal" interpretation, in case this is helpful at all.
It seems to me that "sus enfáticos años", full of intensity and passion migh be "flat" in terms of nuances of expression, strong, soft, interested, apathetic... I.e., the short age of Lolita gives her that "pulsion" or intensity, but being at the same level of "stridency" it becomes "synthetic" lacking real emotion and nuances, lacking color and connotations.
That is how I read this "synthetic" term. It could be that it is used ironically as in the opposite of "devoid of emotion", but rather the exact opposite.
That's why I gave my agreement to Cecilia, as using the same term gives the freedom to the reader to interpret it as he wants.

The other idea is that "voz sintética" is an expression able to "synthetize" an idea or concept in a very terse way. (It might be what is meant in this context, but it seems a less plausible interpretation, in my view.)
E.g.:
Es decir, un símbolo es fácil de interpretar cuando conocemos previamente su significado y perdón por la perogrullada, que no lo es tanto. Otra cosa es la [***]expresión sintética[***] de una idea, buscando un lema, como el "Perfundet omnia luce" de la medalla profesoral.
