Spanish term or phrase: poder re-plegado
THis is a text by a Spanish architecture theorist. The term is used in relation to Foucault's theory of power. I know that Deleuze's idea of the fold is translated from the French into Spanish as pliegue or repliegue, but not sure how the term has been translated in Foucault's work. Here are a few examples from the text:

las tecnologías cotidianas ahora no son presentadas como dispositivos disciplinares, sino como superficies de consenso sobre las que se re-pliegan (cajanegrizan) formas concretas de convivencia, a partir de una suerte de política material basada en la delegación de competencias sobre la materia

Así entendía Foucault, por ejemplo, las sillas de los colegios: formas re-plegadas de poder que construyen los cuerpos

fold-back of force/power
Explanation:
Fold-back is what seems to be used.

"The ethical relationship to oneself, i.e., self-constitution, is actually a “fold-back” (“repli”) of the force.33 Force, which is to govern and dominate others, is being bent back on the subject itself. Deleuze calls this the “self-affection” (“autoaffectation”) of the force. "

For Deleuze, Foucault's idea is “that of a dimension of subjectivity derived ... The subject comes into being when the forces that constitute power fold back on

trickle-down/downstreamed power

Explanation:
folded-back or blackboxed patterns don't ring any bells.

se replier sur: edge or border on > Ernst's FRE/ENG General Scientific and Technological Dictionary.

Perhaps not a true 'repeat' - like rejoindre > catch up with s.o. or rendre visite > pay not repay a visit.

My answer keeps disappearing so I am going to try to 'fold it' out of the envelope of semantic obscurity.

'sino como superficies de consenso sobre las que se re-pliegan (cajanegrizan) formas concretas de convivencia...'

'but as areas of consensus (National Gallery, London, spelling: concencus) on to which specific forms of co-existence trickle down (are blackboxed)...'

'...formas re-plegadas de poder que construyen los cuerpos..' downstreamed (downloaded!) forms of power that shape bodies...'

se re-pliegan (cajanegrizan)
re-fold (blackbox[ing])

Explanation:
Diría que el concepto original podría aludir a Deleuze antes que a Foucault, en tanto que re-folding;

"what always matters is folding, unfolding, refolding" (Deleuze 1993).

https://books.google.es/books?id=exIwDwAAQBAJ&pg=PT70&lpg=PT...

Lo que, al menos para mí tiene sentido, en tanto que concepto ligado a blackboxing (cajanegrización).

To cite Bruno Latour, blackboxing is "the way scientific and technical work is made invisible by its own success."

En todo caso, respondo al literal citado y no a la pregunta original -se re-pliegan (cajanegrizan) versus poder re-plegado
i.e.
(...) sobre las que se re-pliegan (cajanegrizan) formas concretas de convivencia...
(...) over which specific patterns of social coexistence [ways of coexisting] re-fold (blackbox/blackboxing?)...

Esta es una muy interesante opción (versus re-folded);
Coil (re-plegar).

"Pli" and "repli" both have a primary meaning of "fold" and are otherwise largely synonymous, although the form of the latter suggests an idea of repetition. An introverted person is furthermore said to be "replié sur soi", and the word "repli" consequently has a connotation of turning inward, or invagination. To maintain a distinction in English, I have translated "pli" as "fold" and "repli" as "coil", since the latter evokes the movements of a reptile [replis], the idea of finding in on oneself and the springs [ressorts] which Deleuze says undelie Leibnizian matter.
