Datos: Paciente de 60 años de edad. Rescate quirúrgico post-neoadjuvancia por Ca. De pulmón (N2).

Material Remitido y Macroscopia: Se reciben rotulados como:
1) Biopsia de tejido en contacto con Mediastino: Tres fragmentos de tejido que miden juntos 1.5 x 1.1 x 0.2 cms. Por indicación del cirujano se realiza estudio intraoperatorio, impronta citológica y corte por congelación informado como negativo para neoplasia.

Can anyone advise me what "impronta citológica" indicates here? I have considered the various combinations of histological/cytological and "mapping/analysis/assessment but cannot seem to find a definitive translation.
