Spanish term or phrase: logró algún tipo de marcha
Estimados colegas:

Muchas gracias.

Daniela, as Neil says, gait generally refers to the manner in which a person walks, not the action of walking itself:

Gait: A manner of walking. Observation of gait can provide early diagnostic clues for a number of disorders, including cerebral palsy, Parkinson's disease, and Rett syndrome.

"Gait" means the way a person walks. Abnormal gait or gait abnormality occurs when the body systems that control the way a person walks do not function in the usual way.

This is more about being able to walk, with or without aid, not the person's gait.
