Spanish term or phrase: nervio mediano y cubital derechos
in a electroneurogram, I understand nervio mediano is the median nerve. Cubital from what I see is not a nerve.
But mediano and cubital derechos appears to refer to two nerves.
Can anyone enlighten?
Also, in the same report, conducciones motoras/conducciones sensitivas.... are they conductors? conductions? conduits?
many thanks

Reference information:
El elctroneurograma se refiere en inglés habitualmente como nerve conduction study (NCS) o nerve conduction velocity test (NCV). It is used to identify nerve damage of either motor or sensory branches of a nerve. Specifically, an NCS can show delayed motor or sensory conduction, which helps identifying and charcterizing nerve damage.

As for the nerves you ask for, María Patricia has already answered correctly; right median and ulnar nerves (nervios mediano y cubital derechos). Both of this nerves have motor and sensory branches, reason why the conduction study addresses both motor and sensory function (conduction velocity).

A nerve conduction velocity (NCV) test — also called a nerve conduction study (NCS) — measures how fast an electrical impulse moves through your nerve. NCV can identify nerve damage.

The ulnar nerve innervates the flexor muscles of the forearm including the flexor carpi ulnaris and flexor digitorum profundus. It also innervates the intrinsic muscles of the hand including the palmaris brevis, lumbricals, hypothenar and interossei muscles. In the hand, superficial branch of the ulnar nerve innervates palmaris brevis muscle and sensory to the hypothenar muscles, fourth common digital nerve, and ulnar proper nerve. Deep branch innervates hypothenar muscles, opponens digiti minimi, interosseous muscles, third and fourth lumbricals, adductor pollicis and medial head of the flexor pollicis brevis.
