Medical - Medical (general)
Spanish term or phrase: estudio
I am looking for help from someone familiar with Mexican medical notes.
On medical notes from Mexico they include "treating physician", "specialty", "estudio" and "professional license".
Next to "estudio" it usually shows the name of a University.
At first I thought it meant that the doctor's office was located at that specific University,
but that doesn't make sense because the address on the note is not at a University.
So do they mean by "estudio" where the doctor acquired his or her degree from?

Thank you! Have a great day!

Cordially,

D.

Agree and I chose Education because I think it is a better way to express it in English than "Studies".

Explanation:
With respect to medical work I expect 'estudio' ( as long as it's a noun) to be about research or investigations. It could simply mean 'study' or 'I study'.
