Explanation:

Dental impressions (diagnosis was made ) were taken by means of making two (probably maxillary and mandibular) dental impression casts/moulds (diagnostic casts) of light-curing resin and pink wax to be subsequently mounted on the articulator.

A dental impression is a negative imprint of hard (teeth) and soft tissues in the mouth from which a positive reproduction (cast or model) can be formed. It is made by placing an appropriate material in a stock or custom dental impression tray which is designed to roughly fit over the dental arches.

Duplicate diagnostic casts are mounted on an articulator

Duplicate diagnostic casts are mounted on an articulator, and a diagnostic wax-up is completed for the desired contour, occlusal scheme, and esthetic aspects of the final restoration.

It could also be 'interocclusal / occlusal records'
Conventional interocclusal records and the articulator are being replaced by the virtual occlusal record and the virtual articulator.

The parameters were recorded to be subsequently mounted in the articulator

Explanation:
Records/recordings were taken to be subsequently mounted in the articulator

An articulator is a mechanical device used in dentistry to which casts of the maxillary (upper) and mandibular (lower) teeth are fixed, reproducing recorded positions of the mandible in relation to the maxilla. An articulator assists in the fabrication of removable prosthodontic appliances (dentures), fixed prosthodontic restorations (crowns, bridges, inlays and onlays) and orthodontic appliances.

Articulator programming
For the recording and determination of the individual patient parameters with regard to articulator programming, we recommend using the following electronic TMJ movement measuring systems which support the Stratos articulators. Use one of the following links for further information:

This chapter aims to assist with understanding the procedure of mounting models into a semi‐adjustable articulator, which takes place most often in the dental laboratory, following on from a facebow recording and intra‐occlusal records being made.

Clinical records were used in vitro to mount casts to 5 different articulator systems and to program the articulator HCI and Bennett angle.

It has been reported that a great majority of restorative cases are being sent to the lab without any type of patient photography, and also occasionally inter occlusal records and facebow registration records are missing as well. This information is critical for the lab technician to mount casts on an articulator to be able to produce accurate prosthesis (Zarb and Bolender, 2004).

Restorative procedures that require the mounting of casts often need accurate interocclusal registrations. From the technician’s point of view, it is important that the casts can be mounted on the articulator in such a way that the relationship between the casts corresponds to the relationship in the patient’s mouth in lateral, vertical and anteroposterior dimensions. These relationships are recorded by means of interocclusal records, of which there are three basic ‘static’ types.

Conclusion
Accurate, well-made occlusal records can make a huge difference to the outcome of crown and bridgework. Almost all currently available materials will produce excellent records if used correctly - for example, wax in combination with a material such as zinc oxide-eugenol is an excellent material, but given its physical properties may not be the best material to send through the post to the laboratory.
A little time spent reviewing the use of occlusal records will undoubtedly pay dividends when the time comes to cement the restoration.

After further thought, I think it would be better to write 'Records were made to be subsequently mounted in the articulator'. I've also seen 'on' the articulator.
