Spanish term or phrase: Tallares
I'm seeing "Tallares Quirúrgico/Protetico" [sic] listed as a course title for a postgraduate dental specialization in prosthetics from a university in Argentina. If this were an older (hand-typed) transcript, I would suspect a typographical error and assume it should be "Talleres", but this is just over ten years ago, so I'm fairly sure it was imported directly from a database. I can't tell whether it refers to a surgical instrument or a prosthetic "part". Thank you in advance!

Notes to answerer
Asker: Neilmac - thank you so much for your well-researched answer! It's very much along the lines of what I was thinking, although the client has since informed me that it was, indeed, a typo, and it was simply a series of workshops on surgical prothetics!
