Spanish term or phrase: cerrito
Hi everyone,

I'm translating some research on neonatal calf nutrition and disease prevention measures.

The term I can't pinpoint is "cerrito". It is written in a chart as "diarrea (cerrito)".

Later it is used in a footnote... "Se refiere cerrito que provine de otro establo". There is no other reference in the text.

Any searches turn up non-contextual items.

Thanks,

scours

Explanation:
Scours is the term generally used for diarrhea in calves and the germs that cause it could indeed come from another barn, especially since some cattle raisers get replacement calves from other herds if they lose some of their own.
