redounding to their benefit and being enforceable (by and against them)

Explanation:
Yes, "redound to/in their" is idiomatic in this context. The "by and against them" part refers only to "enforceable".

BrE: inuring /AmE: enuring to their benefit and/or being enforceable (by and/or against them)

Explanation:
Strange. I'd have thought inure etc. to the benefit of would have rolled off the tongue or slipped off the quill pen.

Unless I am mistaken, enuring is more US and Can. legal spelling. 'What does everybody else think ?'

Read 'y' disjunctively - for or against them - rather than conjunctively.

Example sentence(s):
  • No part of the assets will be returned to any Individual Employer or inure to the benefit of any Individual Employer or the Union. norcalaborers.org Ninguna parte de los bienes será devuelta a ningún Empleador Individual ni redundará en beneficio de
  • Enure is (1) a legal term meaning to happen, to be applied, to come into effect, to serve as a benefit to a person (2) an older variant of inure

agree  Robert Carter: Ah, yes, "inure"! One of those words that just doesn't stick in my memory for some reason. Definitely an improvement on my suggestion.

  -> Thanks, Robert. After posting, I noticed Taña D's 'inure' buried in her explanation - and that would have saved me an extra post.
