I've just checked the term now, but it seems there are two possibilities here, "declumping" and "delumping". I'm not quite sure which is applicable.

Preferred and most economical choice when particle-size distributions of 100 to 400 microns are desired.
Ideal for declumping and creating free-flowing powders

degradation

Explanation:
I think the term could be "degradation" as it is a term for a similar process in chemistry. It is defined as " Decomposition of a compound, especially complex substances such as polymers and proteins, by stages, exhibiting well-defined intermediate products" and "a breakdown of a molecule into atoms or smaller molecules"

-> Thanks, Charles. After a further look, it seems "delumping" may also be a possibility.

agree  neilmac: I was thinking "de-lumpifying" but this is probably what I meant... :-)
